Woman's Day Helps Me "Live Well Every Day"

I think every woman has picked up and browsed a Woman's Day Magazine at the checkout counter a time or two, along with other magazines on the shelf.  Waiting in line is not fun and browsing magazines is a nice way to fill the void.  Woman's Day Magazine is a magazine that I have subscribed to for some time.  Before subscribing to it, I found myself bringing home issues from the grocery store and finally decided to subscribe and save some money on buying single issues.

Woman's Day Magazine

Woman's Day is a magazine that is published to appeal to women.  It contains a variety of information that most women will enjoy.  The magazine covers topics that will aid women in raising a family, entertainment and decorating advice, menu preparation, health topics, budget advice, fashions, nutrition and topics that include "everyday life" situations. 

Woman's Day Magazine is set up into several different sections.  The main sections include:

Live Well - This section includes articles on holidays, how-to advice, shopping, and everyday topics relative to the month and time of year.  For instance, the December issue contains holdiday decorating ideas and tips, holiday recipes, gift guides and charity organizations. 

Style - From clothing to shoes and the latest in hair styles, this section will keep you up-to-date with the latest in style trends.

Health - The health section includes exercise, diet, studies on new herbs and drugs, and articles that relate to your children's healthcare. 

Solutions - You can find advice on just about any topic here from how to prepare a family budget to saving on grocery shopping to how to prepare a resume.  Each issue contains 4-5 articles of advice on miscelleaneous advice.

Eat Well - This section is pretty self expanatory.  It contains recipes for meals and snacks, healthy foods, menus for the month, how to eat healthier, and preparing food for entertaining guests.

In Every Issue - This section includes the Shopper's Guide, Simpe Inspirations (famous quotes), and All In A Woman's Day, which is basically your letter from the editor that gives the scoop on the current issue. 

My Thoughts on Woman's Day Magazine

I have enjoyed Woman's Day Magazine for many years.  I found it very helpful to me in raising a family with all the ideas, advice and helpful articles that it contains.  I love the illustrations in this magazine.  All of the articles include wonderful color photographs that truly make the articles come alive.  I especially enjoy holiday issues because you can get some great decorating ideas just from the photographs in the magazine.  This is also a good way to pick up ideas on making centerpieces for your dining table. 

Another favorite area of Woman's Day Magazine for me is the recipes.  They offer some creative ways to make healthy snacks and meals that I would have never come up with on my own. 

Overall, I think Woman's Day Magazine is well worth the cover price.  There are a lot of ads, but the that is what helps keep the price so low.  In this case, it is a worthwhile trade off!

Recommendation

Woman's Day Magazine is a well rounded magazine that women of all ages will enjoy.  It is also available online in a limited capacity but also offers things such as coupons and sweepstakes that are not available in the magazine.  Great magazine at a super good price!
