The Best Windows Available

Windows XP Professional is quite simple the best Windows software that you will be able to find. Despite being older than Windows Vista, it is much better, much more stable, and much more compatible. You will run into next to no compatibility issues, and I haven't had a single crash on this operating system since I installed it. I custom built my own computer and it absolutely screams on XP Professional, but the operating system is not that hardware intensive. Video cards are un-needed, single core processors work fine, and the system typically idles at 256MB of Ram, which is a measly amount for this day and age. I use XP Professional for tasks from gaming, to word processing, and virtually anything else you can think of and it gets the job done. The system is user friendly for everyone, whether you can run the system from the command prompt or if you can hardly find the power button on your case. There are virtually no cons on this system and since it is supported by Microsoft until 2014 (longer than Vista), it will be great for years to come. The system isn't as secure as Vista, but if you know what you're doing then it shouldn't be a problem. Overall, this is quite simply the best Windows software you will find anywhere.
