Gotta Love Windows XP

Date of Review:  Mar 28, 2007
Review: If I had the choice, I would choose XP over 98. It's better established and up-to-date. I love how it's so automated and you don't have to do everything manually. It warns you every time when something is not up-to-date.

XP is the best!

Date of Review:  Aug 22, 2008
Review: I highly rate Windows XP! I had Windows XP on my old laptop before it bit the dust. I wish I had it on my newer desktop. Instead I have Vista. I'm too lazy to reformat the thing and Vista sucks bigtime. It lags so often, and it bites. So many of my...

Good to try so far not much issues with it.

Date of Review:  Aug 23, 2008
The Bottom Line: One draw back to XP is the fact that MS doesn't mention all the little tweaks you can do to speed it up.
Review: This one is tried and tested by me. So far did not have much issues with it. You can visit Microsoft web site and download it for free. Win XP SP 2 is pretty good provided you do alot of tweaking
It seems pretty stable, no more BSOD's. It also...

To Window or not to Window?

Date of Review:  Mar 5, 2005
The Bottom Line: Windows XP is good for a novice, but not so good for nerd. At least it's compatible with most software.
Review: My op is on the OEM version.

###Intro###

Windows is probably the most successful operating systems, software that runs software, ever.

Naturally, because of this most software is for Windows, but also most...

Windows XP, Is it Worth it?

Date of Review:  Jun 22, 2009
The Bottom Line: Providing the speed and stability that you would want in home or work environments, this operating system is well worth it's price.
Review: Windows XP is a very fast operating system. Without hogging up your RAM this operating system loads what you want it to in little wait. I bought this product shortly after it came out in order to upgrade to the new windows model. Don't let this...

98 SE Was better.

Date of Review:  May 8, 2006
Review: I'm not sure why--the program is very intuitive--but I don't like it. Could it be because it freezes up at least once during each session? Whatever--the 2E of '98 worked better, and when my new Dell arrived with XP and I got the drift, I found...

Windows XP Home--Can't live without it

Date of Review:  Jul 12, 2006
Review: Windows XP is by far the best OS on the market. With its sleak looks and top notch security, not to mention it's user friendly ...it beats other OS's hands down.

However, there are some aspects to the OS that I think are just pointless...

Not the best... Not the worst

Date of Review:  Jul 8, 2005
The Bottom Line: This is not the OS for new users... It's something that only users of 95 should even try... Go for MAC.
Review: The Era of Windows XP came around the time Windows 2000 was just catching on... I myself had been a Windows ME user (Ugh) for nearly a year by the time XP came out. Being myself, I skeptically took Windows XP as what most Microsoft products were --...

Bill Gates doesn't own my disk!

Date of Review:  Nov 21, 2005
The Bottom Line: Use an operating system that doesn't require constant harassments & maintenance from product websites.
Review: The fact that I'm writing this review from a 1999 233mhz PII laptop running Mandriva 10.2 should give you a clue. I've had a 64bit Athlon Desktop PC for two months and can't stand to boot it up in XP. I only get home on weekends, but every bootup...
