The Bottom Line: If you're looking for an OS, this is a great one to use, but weigh whether you need it carefully.
Review: Windows XP Home edition with Service Pack 2 is the same Windows XP Home released three years ago, patched with Service Pack 2 applied, for better or for worse.

The Bottom Line: Windows XP is a delivery vehicle for viruses and spyware. Get a Mac. If you are technically savvy, you'll like Linux.

The Bottom Line: One draw back to XP is the fact that MS doesn't mention all the little tweaks you can do to speed it up.
