Wii play is a fun game and it teaches you how to handle the Wii remote better. Although the games do get boring after a while, it is still a must-have for the Nintendo Wii in my mind! Besides, it comes with a Wii remote!
There are a total of 9 games on this disc. The games are Shooting Gallery, Find-Mii, Table Tennis, Pose-Mii, Laser Hockey, Billiards, Fishing, Charge, and Tanks. These games are fun and although they arent any different when you play again, you can play different levels!
Shooting Gallery is a game where you aim your Wii remote at your TV like a gun and you press A or B to shoot the targets! This game is fun to try for high scores when you play 1 player, but I like it much more with 2 players! In this game you get to shoot birds, balloons, targets, and even UFOs!
Find-Mii is a game with different levels where you try to find two look-alikes, three look-alikes, the Mii that you are using, or the fastest, or even the odd one out! This game uses random fake Miis and also the Miis that were created on your Wii. This is probably one of my favorite games in Wii Play and it reminds me of a Wheres Waldo? Book with a twist! In this game you just have to point your Wii remote at the screen and pay close attention!
Table Tennis is also a blast! When you play alone you try to rally the ball back and forth and get 100. If you are playing with somebody else, than you actually play the points out and see who can get to 11 first. Once you grab your paddle on the game, you just need to swing at the right times!
Pose-Mii is a game where bubbles float from the top of the screen down. Your body can be in three different positions. You must fit in the bubble before it reaches the bottom of the screen. This game gets very hard toward the end! In this game you must hold the Wii remote and twist it so you can fit in the bubbles.
Laser hockey is a game in which you move your piece and try to score a goal against your opponent! This game reminds me a lot of Pong, because it is just like the game. Of course, it is more colorful, a little bit different and it has better graphics. You hold the Wii remote and aim it at the TV and just try to hit the puck!
Billiards is a great and fun way to control the Wii remote! This game is my favorite to play alone, but it is also a blast with other people! You will learn how to bring the remote back, forward, moving around the screen, and even how to control the buttons! Dont worry though; it isnt as hard as it sounds!
Fishing, surprisingly, is actually fun! When I saw the concept of the game, I was thinking that it would be a boring game! I stand corrected. In this game you drop your hook in the water and try to catch the fish. Certain fish can be worth bonus points, and Small Fry fish will subtract points. This game is a great game for two people!
Charge is my favorite game out of the nine! You control a cow and get points for knocking down scarecrows, plus you try to jump the fences. This game teaches you to hold the remote sideways, so you can tilt it in different ways to move! Charge will definitely show you how to use the Wii remote in a different way and you will have tons of fun!
Tanks is a game that uses the nunchuk for the Wii as well as the regular remote. You try to destroy your opponents tank and maneuver your tank to stay alive. Obviously in this game you learn how to use the nunchuk.
The order the games are in above is also the order they are loaded on the game. When you first start the game, you will only be able to play Shooting Gallery. To unlock the next game in order, you must first play the game before it at least once. As you can see, this wont take to long to unlock them. Before you know it you will be able to play all nine!
I would recommend this game to anyone who has a Wii with only one Wii remote! Since the game comes with a remote, it is a great deal! To buy a Wii remote cost $39.99 and to get Wii Play and a Wii remote it only costs $50.00! Basically, you are getting nine games for $10.00!
Wii Play is a great game to get as a new Wii owner because it teaches you the controls of the Wii remote! You learn a new way to control it in each of the nine games! Plus, the games are still fun to come back to later with friends or for a change of a game!
Wii Play is great for two players! It is fun to play alone, but not as much! Each game can be played with one or two players! Since, you have another remote from buying the Wii, this means you can play with two people and have a blast!
Overall, Wii Play is 9 games and a Wii remote for only $10.00 more than buying a Wii remote! Plus, now you can learn the basics of the remote and have a great time! This is the perfect game along with Wii Sports to get for a new Wii owner!
