Nine Fun Games in One

Wii Play has a total of nine stages of play. You must first unlock all the stages by playing each one once and unlocking the stages in order. It does not matter if you do bad on the stage. You just have to complete it to open the next one. In the game you your Mii character is often featured in the game. Overall this game is fun to play, although the graphics are not all that great, however the games are nicely designed to give fun game play utlitizing the revolutionary Wiimote technology. The games are easy to figure out how to play making it a great game for everyone to play. The simplisticness of the games can be a drawback in that those looking for a more action packed type of gaming experience will not get it from Wii Play.

Stage One: Shooting - In this game you use the Wiimote as a gun to shoot balloons, ducks, etc. to score the highest score you can.

Stage Two: Find Mii - In this game you must match what the level is asking for such as two identical Miis, the Mii you are using, or two Miis without a match. This game can get difficult fast and in my opinion also boring fast.

Stage Three: Table Tennis - In this game you return the ping pong ball as many times in a row as you can. This game is very simplistic with no goal in trying to score against an opponent, however it can be fun trying to get your new high score.

Stage Four: Pose Mii - In this game you rotate the Wiimote and aim to make your Mii match the bubble and pop them before they reach the bottom of the screen. I love this game because the game can get fast pace and exciting as you progress. It also nicely utilizes the abilities of the Wiimote.

Stage Five: Laser Hockey - In this game you try to score more than is scored on you. The game can be fun, but the bright colors on the black background is hard on he eyes.

Stage Six: Billiards - In this game you must sink the balls in number order in as few shots as you can. This game can be frustrating with it being sensitive to you moving the Wiimote straight forward. It works best when you are in the middle of the screen, but I still have trouble with it.

Stage Seven: Fishing - In this game you fish in a pond and try to catch as many fish worth high points during the alloted time.

Stage Eight: Charge - In this game you hold the Wiimote in the steering position (sideways) and tilt it forward to go. You score points by knocking down targets, but you get nothing if you do not reach the finish before time runs out.

Final Stage: Tanks - In this stage you can use the Wiimote or the Wiimote and Nunchuck. Personally I find it easiest to just the Wiimote, but I recommend trying each way to find what is best for you. The object of the game is to shoot all the tanks in the mission and complete as many missions as you can before you run out of lives.
