Cool summer nights

It's been about 3 weeks since I bought this A/C and it's been pleasant experience so far. I am now able to sleep comfortably without leaving the windows open and listening to the blaring of traffic. First, this A/C looks cool, I'm a guy and definitely appreciate the overall appearance of this unit. I've seen some portable and window A/Cs that look like they haven't changed since a lifetime ago. Second, reliability and performance have been outstanding so far. It cools my bedroom which is about 20x12 with little effort. The fan noise can be quite sudden and loud if you're right next to the unit. One other nitpick I have is the white film that protects the stainless steel during transit. It does not detach from the edges easily and you need to use something like a paperclip to push it in or pick it off. Finally, the price of this is what I like the most, this is easily one of the low priced, high-end looking product, a combination that works for me. I just got my utility bill yesterday and the impact of the A/C was not material to me especially given the blissful nights sleep I can get.
