Whistler WGPX-550 Handheld GPS Receiver

I've had one of these for about a year and a half. It works reasonably well most of the time. However, the maps were out-of-date when I bought it and Whistler has yet to release new maps. As a result, I find myself having to check Google Maps for the real location, then entering a nearby intersection into the GPS.

The only thing that has failed so far is the mounting bracket. It became brittle after a couple months of sitting in the car and cracked.

The battery doesn't hold a charge anymore but that's not much of a problem since it's usually powered by the car.

The only other irritation is the shut-down sequence. You have to exit the navigation app (the only app I use) before you power off. If you forget to do this, you'll need to power back on, exit the app, power off and power back on again before using it again.
