Whistler DE-1660 Radar Detector

The 1660 offers a good value for it detection. The Whistler Company offers many features in it product but some not worth the price. This is one the many detectors in or above the middle class of detectors. This includes Cobra, Uniden, and Escort.

This Whistler offers VG-2 alert, Voice, X,K,Ka,Laser, and SWS. The City mode offers ok protection by reducing X band sensitivity. The display is green, clear at day and night, bad in direct sunlight. It offer dimming and dark modes but still not dim enough since drivers can still see next to you and know you are equiped.
