This is a great washing machine. The only down fall that I can think of...it does not fold the laundry, nor put it away.
From the first time I used it, I had great results. This machine uses such a small amount of water and HE laundry detergent, that the first bottle of soap I bought lasted us 2 months. Which in a household of two adults, and one teenage girl that changes outfits every 10 minutes, is remarkable. Right from the beginning I noticed that my clothes were cleaner, my whites were brighter and all of the laundry was softer.
The whitest white cycle is my favorite. It includes an extra rinse cycle right in the setting that is great if you are using bleach.
Doing whites in my old machine meant filling the washer, adding the bleach, running the washer for a few minutes, and finally adding the clothes. When it finished it's cycle, I again had to run the whites through yet another wash/rinse cycle with just clear water.
Another thing I have noticed since owning this wash machine, something we call "hair spider's".
Let me explain. My daughter and I, have long hair, and my husband is losing his. There was always hair that worked its way into the fibers of towels, sweaters, blankets, etc. Not anymore, much to every ones pleasure. I am not sure how it works, but we now find clumps of balled up hair which resemble spiders, usually clinging to the washer door.
Very quiet, and a noticeable lower utility bill. This washer earns an A+ from me.
