Wishing this could be my rock of love- the Whirlpool WFW8300SW Front Loading Washer.

Date of Review:  Apr 2, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you want a front loader, be sure to do your research and be ready to dedicate to the maintenance, otherwise you'll have problems.
Review: I ve had the Whirlpool Duet Sport Washer Model # WFW8300SW Front Loader since Christmas. I really love the matching dryer, but this is definitely the mean sibling of the dryer.

We paid $1,400 for the washer, dryer, and 2 pedestals. Before...

My Terrible Laundering Beauty

Date of Review:  Feb 8, 2008
The Bottom Line: I recommend the Whirlpool Duet Sport because it is efficient, energy and water saving, and a blast to watch. However, I do have some doubts about long-term durability of front-loaders.
Review: When I was a young girl, my parents took me to a Sears and Roebuck in Richmond, Virginia. I was just small, couldn t have been any older than five or so. They did whatever they did, whatever grownups do in such places, and I sat on the floor and...

Great washer: the clothes come out clean and almost dry.

Date of Review:  Dec 6, 2006
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a new washer. It's a little pricey, but operating costs are significantly lower than older uprights. It works great!
Review: I bought my wife the Duet Sport a few weeks back. In fact, we bought both the washer and the dryer, with the matching pedestals. They were a little pricey, but she really wanted them.

The Duet Sport is a little different from the standard...

Mom's dream machine

Date of Review:  Apr 13, 2009
The Bottom Line:

I would recommend this because it's economical and saves time. I will never buy anything but the whirpool front loader washer. I would also highly suggest the pedestals, also.

Review: I recieved my front loader washer back in January 2008. I bought this product because consumer reports showed that it was economical and could do 17 loads of jeans in one load!

I have love the front loader whirpool washer for several...

Whirlpool Duet Sport makes doing laundry the highlight of my day!

Date of Review:  Oct 24, 2007
The Bottom Line: If you want a dependable, quiet, energy efficient, money saving washer that gets clothing amazingly clean and fresh smelling the Whirlpool Duet Sport is your washer!
Review: Background: I was tired of my laundry drama. Laundry was eating up my time and energy, and I dreaded throwing a load of clothing into my Maytag Performa (top loader with a composite plastic tub) which I purchased four years ago at Lowes. My Maytag...

whirlpool duet

Date of Review:  Dec 22, 2008
The Bottom Line: Goof deal for an HE machine that includes a heavy duty cycle & alos gives the option of an extra rinse.
Review: Mine has been pretty good. I would not agree that I can do sixteen pairs of jeans or towels in it. I do like having the extra rinse function & heavy duty cycle, I use them quite a lot. And I did want an energy star model. Like many buyers I had an...

Happy with Duet Sport

Date of Review:  Jun 6, 2006
The Bottom Line: Generally quiet, very efficient. Highly recommended
Review: I needed a replacement for my GE top loader that had been throwing oil out of the transmission almost since day one. I read up on appliance forums and discovered that this is a common problem. I decided that I would use it until it failed, then...

Great washer!

Date of Review:  Jun 19, 2006
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great looking, quiet machine.
Review: I recently replaced my top loader with this front loader and although I was a bit hesitant because you have to bend down to load and unload the machine (I didn't purchase the optional pedestals), it is definitely worth making the switch. I've been...

Great Washer, no spin issues, FAST spin makes for quick dry

Date of Review:  Jun 9, 2007
The Bottom Line: This washer is great. It has a variety of cycles (short to long) and good features, fast spin speeds and doesn't vibrate too much and can handle an unbalanced load.
Review: This is a great washer. I am *very* happy with it.

It all started when we bought a house and moved into it...but before moving into it there was an offending door *between the kitchen and bathroom/laundry room* that had to be dealt with...

Washing Machine NIGHTMARE!

Date of Review:  Oct 6, 2007
The Bottom Line: I would not purchase this machine - the mechanics are too fragile and it is easily broken
Review: We bought the Whirlpool Duet Sport 3 weeks ago and it has yet to work on one load of laundry. The installation was fine, and the test run seemed to be OK. As soon as I put laundry into the machine, an F-20 error shuts down the cycle. This happens no...
