Mom's dream machine

by   snellchrissy ,  Apr 13, 2009
Pros: ecomonical, good settings, can do seventeen  pair of jeans at once or comforters.
Cons: professionally moved and installed, he detergent and the measurements are wider then normal.
The Bottom Line:

I would recommend this because it's economical and saves time.  I will never buy anything but the  whirpool front loader washer.  I would also highly suggest the pedestals, also.

Review:  I recieved my front loader washer back in January 2008. I bought this product because consumer reports showed that it was economical and could do 17 loads of jeans in one load!    & nbsp;     I have ...

Great washer: the clothes come out clean and almost dry.

by   clumsy_ox ,  Dec 6, 2006
Pros: Capacity, cleans well, uses very little detergent
Cons: Price
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a new washer. It's a little pricey, but operating costs are significantly lower than older uprights. It works great!
Review: I bought my wife the Duet Sport a few weeks back. In fact, we bought both the washer and the dryer, with the matching pedestals. They were a little pricey, but she really wanted them. The Duet Sport is a little different from the standard upright ...

Whirlpool Duet Sport makes doing laundry the highlight of my day!

by   midnitedisease ,  Oct 24, 2007
Pros: Clean smelling clothing; energy efficient; quiet; clothing dries faster
Cons: None. Bleach dispenser can be moved out for easy access.
The Bottom Line: If you want a dependable, quiet, energy efficient, money saving washer that gets clothing amazingly clean and fresh smelling the Whirlpool Duet Sport is your washer!
Review: Background: I was tired of my laundry drama. Laundry was eating up my time and energy, and I dreaded throwing a load of clothing into my Maytag Performa (top loader with a composite plastic tub) which I purchased four years ago at Lowes. My ...

Great Washer, no spin issues, FAST spin makes for quick dry

by   so_hum ,  Jun 9, 2007
Pros: Good cleaning, much quieter than topload, no vibration, huge capacity, FAST spin even w/halfload.
Cons: "slappy" sounding doors, fiddly controls if you're used to old fashioned, louder than some.
The Bottom Line: This washer is great. It has a variety of cycles (short to long) and good features, fast spin speeds and doesn't vibrate too much and can handle an unbalanced load.
Review: This is a great washer. I am *very* happy with it. It all started when we bought a house and moved into it...but before moving into it there was an offending door *between the kitchen and bathroom/laundry room* that had to be dealt with. In other ...

Great washer!

by   hrodak ,  Jun 19, 2006
Pros: Great looking machine, clothes are cleaner than ever before!
Cons: Without the optional pedestals, you have to bend down to load and unload the machine.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great looking, quiet machine.
Review: I recently replaced my top loader with this front loader and although I was a bit hesitant because you have to bend down to load and unload the machine (I didn't purchase the optional pedestals), it is definitely worth making the switch. I've been using ...

9/27/2008 - Still works great!!!!
Cons: NONE
The Bottom Line: Great machine with no problems!!!!
Review: I've used a lot of websites to look at different view points on washing machines and found Epinions to be the most helpful. Thought it would be useful to add my thoughts. After 19 years our old Speed Queen started to have problems with the cycle ...

Whirlpool WFW8300S Front Load Washer

by   sandeeb ,  Sep 5, 2007
Pros: clothes are softer, has cut costs on our water bill
Cons: long cycle lengths
The Bottom Line: I have been doing laundry for a long time. This is by far the best washing machine I have ever owned.
Review: This is a great washing machine. The only down fall that I can think of...it does not fold the laundry, nor put it away. From the first time I used it, I had great results. This machine uses such a small amount of water and HE laundry detergent, ...

Works great for us - smart purchase for a smart washer

by   balbert ,  Feb 26, 2008
Pros: Thorough cleaning job, uses very little water and energy
Cons: Loud spin cycle
The Bottom Line: This really is a great, efficient, and reasonably priced washing machine.
Review: I love our Whirlpool Duet Washer. We bought this model because it had almost all of the great features or the larger models at half the cost. With only my husband and myself to wash clothing for, we didn't really see the need to be able to wash a ...

So Far, So Good!!

by   brooklynowner ,  May 1, 2007
Pros: Energy efficient, Internal Water Heater, Quick Wash, Delicates, & Cleaning Options, Easy to Use
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: If you're able to spend $700 or so on a washer, this is your best bet.
Review: I was in the market for a washer and dryer for my home, which would be used by myself as well as my two tenants. Consequently, I was looking for something that tough and reliable and would give me years of trouble-free use. Water efficiency was also a ...

Highly recommend it!

by   dadiri ,  Apr 1, 2009
Pros: Quiet, washes great, very reliable and economical. Great time display.
Cons: Cycles a little too long.
Review: I've had the washer and dryer for 5 months now. I love both of them. The washer does a great job, even with very dirty clothes (I have a 2-year old who doesn't shy away from anything). It's also very good on water and energy. I was worried about all ...
