Whirlpool GU2300 is a good, quiet dishwasher

The Bottom Line: For a middle of the line dishwasher, you'll get clean dishes and won't be bothered with noise. And it will look pretty and modern in your kitchen.

delayed start feature does not work with these dishwashers

The Bottom Line: if you're willing to pre-heat the water, use a specific dish soap and forego the delayed start, then this unit is for you.
Review: i've had my gu2300xtv model for a month now. everything was great for the first 2 weeks.   i loved the ample size, the silverware in the door and the cleaning ability.  it wasn't extremely quiet, but still acceptable.

Great dishwasher with some bad design

The Bottom Line: Would NOT recommend because of the soap dispenser not consistantly working and because the sliverware basket is ridiculous!

Review: Yes, it's quiet. It was priced in the upper range of washers. It is attractive as far as dishwashers go. BUT, amazingly poor design of the basics! You know, the stuff you use every day, every single day?  The soap dispenser lock is a very fragile...
