Whirlpool WTW6200S Top Load Washer

I bought this product thinking I was going to be really upgrading my previous mid priced heavy duty washer. Boy was I wrong. Within a the first week I experienced a flood of water all over the floor of my laundry room. Apparently although it is large capacity tub, it can get off balance without making a noise or shutting off. the water can then fill between the drum and the housing, after which it will just drain on to the floor. This has now happened three times since putting in large items that my smaller capacity washer never had a problem with. My other big complaint is that the clothes come out very twisted and wrinkled. My sheets are usually tied in knots. Many clothing items now require ironing because they are so wrinkled. The dryer is just as bad, and it seems to also add to the wrinkle problem because it does not have a very effective sensor and stops before clothes are fully dry, even when set to the dryest setting. The washer is supposed to use less water, I am not so sure it does. I do know that it takes a very long time for a wash to complete. The water also fills very slowly. This pair is a bust. My opinion is save your money. Buy something cheaper.
