Big Disappointment

I bought this dryer with the matching washer last June and have never had a decent drying since. It has several dryness settings. But even when set at the most dry some of the clothes come out damp. It spins small items up inside of the large ones. It lumps things at the bottom. I don't think the temperature gets very hot. The washer makes everything wrinkled and the dryer does not help to get those wrinkles out, even when items are removed promptly. Mine has an annoying rattle sound that the repair man says is something in the housing that will not effect performance. It also seems to have a loud humming noise sometimes when starting up. The reason for that could not be resolved. Both the washer and dryer are so bulky that they do not fit nicely against the wall in my laundry room. There is also no recess at the back where the vent can attach and be pushed in out of the way. So consequently they stick out far past the adjoining counter top. It looks like someone forgot to put them all the way in the room. I was much happier with the basic heavy duty fridgedaire that I had previously. I never had a problem with it drying and my clothes came out separate and unwrinkled.
