Nice machine - washer doesn't match dryer

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this machine. As long as you don't have problems and have to deal with Whirlpool it is a good buy.
We purchased the Whirlpool WFW9400S in Bisque/Biscuit. We were replacing another Whirlpool washer/dryer in the same color but a top loader. When we received the machines we noticed that the washer was slightly darker in color than the dryer. Sitting in the laundry room it was even more apparent. I'd be interested if others have noticed the same color mismatch. We've seen it in two different stores with the white and bisque. Even the plastic components are a different color. This is not a problem if you put the units in the basement, but if it is in your first floor laundry you might be concerned.
Other than that the washer does a good job. The repair person sent to verify the color difference said these are the best front loaders on the market. This specific washer model is made in Germany.
The washer has a lot of features including a feature to run a cleaning cycle with bleach. This is helpful in front loaders due to past problems with smells and water collecting in the door seal.
The controls are easy to use and the cycle alert is loud enough to be heard from other parts of the house. The alert volume is adjustable.
You'll want to put a rug under the door. It does drip a little when opened after a wash cycle.
