Best choice in the market

After having a Maytag Neptune washer that died after eight years of service, the service agreement of my protection plan gave me an option to select a washer of similar capacity. After doing extensive customer reviews over the Internet, the whirlpool washer ranked the best in service part availability, reliability and durability. Previous customers of this washer advised to leave door open on this washer as means for avoiding odor problems, which in fact I can see a layer of water build on the door when I forget to do this. Other than that this washer is a strong riding horse.

I had forgotten what whites look like since using my old Neptune until I put the first whites cycles on a set of very dirty white socks and t-shirts. The Whirlpool passed the test flawlessly. All whites were truly white after several washes of heavily soiled white socks. Cycle takes 60 min and results are incredible.

Use of the controls is very explicit and panel is very intuitive. Reading the manual helped me more to understand about cycles of HE washers, rather than how to use controls.

Previous reviews of other washers complained of those washers to have high vibrations while spinning clothes. This was not my case nor my experience. As soon as the technician laid the washer in its place and did the connections, there were no special attachments or adjustments needed. It was like turning on a new TV on the den. There's no vibration and noise of the cycles is almost unnoticeable as a normal HE washer should be. This washer is even quieter than my old Neptune.

Capacity of this washer allows to wash almost anything, including my king size comforter.

I am very pleased with this washer and I don't regret not upgrading to a steam washer.
