Whirlpool does not stand behind product

Date of Review: Sep 18, 2007

Brand new out of the box from Lowes and was not able to use it for 30 plus days as they could not figure out what was wrong with it. After 4 service calls and parts replaced it still does not operate properly. Whirlpool says oh well. No explanations or attempts to reconcile. I am very very disappointed in the Whirlpool Corp. It gets stuck in the wash cycle from 25 to 90 minutes. Whirlpool says it is heating water even though the service tech has agreed that the water enters the unit at 120 degrees at the beginning of the cycle. Seeing as how it was repaired 4 times as brand new unit I ask whirlpool for an extended warranty since they would not replace it. They said they would give a year from date of purchase. They would not even give me a year from date of last repair which was 45 days later. Keep in mind the first 30 days we could not even use it all! Stay away from Whirlpool!!
