The popular TV show Wheel of Fortune has been watched by people of all ages. Now the fun is recaptured in this unique, challenging computer game!
Hasbro Interactive brings all the fun of America's favorite game show right to your home! The game has everything that the TV show has...except the real money!
But it doesn't matter; the game is so exciting, it can be played again and again without ever getting tired of it. There are hundreds of puzzles with all the great catagories from the show such as thing, show biz, Same Name, Fill in the Blank, Place, and many more!
And what would Wheel of Fortune be without Vanna White. In a pretty, white gown, she leads the contestants through the game offering cheers and sympathy. " Good for you!" and "Oh, that's a shame" are heard throughout the game.
She urges the players to hurry up when time is running out, putting more pressure on to spin the wheel, buy a vowel, or solve- "Hurry up, we're running out of time!"
The announcer Charley opens the game by asking how you would like the game to be played. Up to three players can play. Computer players fill in the missing people if one or two play. There is also the option of a solo game. In the solo game, the player must guess letters and not run out of free spins. This is challenging and fun. There is a lot of excitement when the puzzle is solved.
There is the option of a short 10 minute game, a 15 minute game, a long 20 minute game, and a 3, 4 or 5 round game.
In the rounds, there are surprises and prizes as on the show. There is a video to show what the prize is. They look so neat!!
There is the jackpot round, also. Talk about a lot of money! The ever popular $2500, and $5000 spaces are here too.
Of course, who can forget the bankrupt space. The money you have earned explodes and Vanna offers her sympathy. Lose a turn, and free spins are included.
When I play, I have to win to get to the bonus round. This is my favorite part. Vanna shows the letters R,S,T,L,N,E after you have chosen a letter with a prize from WHEEL. With 10 seconds, I try to guess the word. Then a video plays with the prize you have won.
Some things that I enjoy are the turning the wheel complete with authentic sound! You can control how hard the wheel is spun. The sounds and graphics are neat. The letters are displayed below the puzzle. There are different places the set can be located-such as the beach, Paris, Holland to name a few.
