A great band that don't sing like americans - wow.

Haha. Ok well first off I really thought the hype about the Arctic Monkeys was just way over the top. In Australia and the UK anyway, I seriously just thought they were another band overhyped by the media. Their album has a pop-rock sound that is very infectious. I can say that while they aren't exactly the best band to emerge, they definitely have a good vibe about their music, and the tunes are catchy and very pop.

My favourite tracks are When the Sun Goes Down, Red Light Indicates Doors are Secured and A Certain Romance. I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor is also an example of their pop-ish sound that is hard ignore. If you love pop/rock music, try listening to the monkeys. They are infinitely better than a lot of the other generic pop/punk/rock sounds these days.
