Pros: Produces a roasted coffee that's fabulously even (if pared with another heat source).
Cons: I don't particularly like popcorn & beware baked on sugar.
The Bottom Line: Popping corn makes The Bottom Line nervous; he always thinks They have found him again.
Review: I don't really care for popcorn much and when I do get a craving it's for movie theater popcorn, which I've never tasted replicated at home. Still, I do own a West Bend Stir Crazy, I just don't make popcorn in it. If you are looking to make popcorn in ...

Pros: Old fashioned popped corn with oil and butter
Cons: You become addicted to it.
The Bottom Line: If your going to have popcorn, why settle for anything less than Stir Crazy popped corn
Review: I have to start out by saying that I adore good popcorn and I am not a fan of microwave popcorn and would just as soon not have popcorn at all as to have microwave popped corn in bags. Now having said that, I will tell you about the Stir Crazy. I ...

Pros: Almost foolproof performance. Very few unpopped kernels.
Cons: Need space for a specialty item. Store with the ice crusher and fajita maker.
The Bottom Line: If good homemade popcorn is your passion, this is your popper!
Review: This is one of those instances where I was hesitant about leaving a review because the ones I've seen pretty much say it all. But I want the points so here goes: I bought this product because it gives me the consistently best popcorn for the least ...

Pros: Good Quality Popcorn maker, Easy to Use & Easy to Clean.
Cons: Hard to locate a retail store that sells unit. Lid/Bowl is not dishwasher safe.
The Bottom Line: If you want a good oil based popper that is easy to use and you don't have the money to buy a theatre level popper, buy this one.
Review: I purchased one of the StirCrazy popcorn poppers after reading multiple reviews for it online. We like popcorn alot and have tried making it a number of different ways. In the past, I often used a large, (12quart) pot on the stove to make popcorn. I ...

Pros: Large capacity, good stirring action, easy to use and clean.
It is very versatile
Cons: The only thing this popcorn maker could use a style upgrade, not the coolest looking.
The Bottom Line: Buy this machine. Do not hesitate. It seems too good to be true. Buy it before they discontinue it. It's almost impossible to find in Canada.
Review: I would go on a North America road trip, selling these popcorn makers if I could. They single handily have saved Popcorn's slow descent into Microwave hell. It takes a beating, it is family friendly, and it's just amazing. Popcorn has been too long ...

Pros: Ours has lasted 14 years so far!
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: Easy, fun, long-lasting, go buy it!
Review: I have been using the Stir Crazy Popper for about 14 years now. I grew up in a family where popcorn was a staple food and microwave popcorn was considered an expensive luxury. Therefore, whatever popcorn popper we had was put through a lot of use.

Pros: Nearly every kernel pops, healthier, quick and easy to use
Cons: stir rod leaves circle around bottom, butter melt function so-so
The Bottom Line: This popper produces fresh, delicious popcorn with ease. You opt to add butter or salt, and create the right healthy treat for you.
Review: I've tried hot air poppers, the stove top method, and microwave popcorn - all had good points but felt short of being really good, at home popcorn. I was skeptical then when I saw an offer for the WestBend Stir Crazy model, but for $22.49 I figured why...

Pros: easy to use, fluffy popcorn,
Cons: you do need space to keep it,
Review: About three years ago after smelling my last bag of burnt microwave popcorn (turned out my microwave was going bad) I decided to find a popcorn popper, one that was easy to use, easy to clean up, and not to expensive. A friend who eats popcorn everyday...

Pros: Fast, holds a lot of popcorn
Cons: Advertises auto shutoff, but this feature proves worthless
Review: The West Bend 6 Quart popcorn popper makes the best popcorn you can get anywhere. I chose this product because I had a really old popper from them that I got at a garage sale. It worked really well until the wire shorted due to overuse & abuse so I...

Pros: Workhorse Durability, Simple, Economical
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: A must for any single guy's appliance list! The perfect machine for preparing snacks for watching any game!
Review: Last year I purchased my third Stir Crazy Popper, thinking my old one was on its last legs. Wrong. The new one is still in the box, and the old one just keeps on popping. The first one did not really wear out, I broke the top. I have been using this...
