Weight Watchers - The Healthiest Magazine Around!

by   chelledun ,  Jul 25, 2006
Pros: Great moderation approach to food and exercise, interesting articles, even ads are appealing
Cons: POINTS tough to decipher for non-program readers
The Bottom Line: Weight Watchers continues to provide excellent health information to all in this appealing magazine.
Review: I am a huge fan of the Weight Watchers program. While I’ve never gone on the diet myself, I have seen many women lose substantial amounts of weight as a result of using the POINTS system including most recently my mother-in-law. Way to go, Mr_Chelledun’ ...

THE magazine for dieters

by   mcangell ,  Sep 10, 2002
Pros: Great format, lots of information
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: THE ideal magazine for those who want to lose weight and/or have a healthier lifestyle. It is loaded with information.
Review: I hate the word "dieting", I really do. I prefer to think of it as a "lifestyle change". Sounds better, doesn't it? As both a Weight Watcher member and a Weight Watcher magazine subscriber, I cannot say enough positive words about this magazine.

A supplement for Weight Watchers

by   chrysa1 ,  Oct 11, 2002
Pros: Real people gloss the pages, not starving models. Good addition to the Weight Watchers Program.
Cons: Not very much content for the men who may be on the program.
The Bottom Line: If on Weight Watchers-a great motivational & inspiration tool. If not on Weight Watchers -a great magazine to help you with your health and wellness.
Review: Many, many years ago, well Ok maybe not THAT many years ago, but I would say about 3-4 years ago I had a free subscription to Weight Watchers magazine. I was not on the program then, nor did I really know much about it other then it was some sort of a...

Weight Watchers for the Weight Watcher

by   jo.com ,  Jul 9, 2002
Pros: Great information; nice layout; motivational.
Cons: Appears to be for women only.
The Bottom Line: This is a great magazine. It is a little different than most on the market, which is nice.
Review: In November 2001, I joined Weight Watchers. I knew I would like the program and got out 1 magazine from the library. I knew I would like the magazine from that 1 issue and wanted a subscription. My husband got me one for my birthday in January. This...

Buy Weight Watchers Magazine for the recipes, not the workouts

by   cascogirl ,  Nov 26, 2006
Pros: Lots of Recipes! Success stories from real people, Motivation strategies.
Cons: Some health info is basic stuff, Workouts are not advanced enough.
The Bottom Line: Weight Watchers Magazine does fill a void, but for me I will not be subscribing, but will purchase it or borrow it from a friend to read for the recipes
Review: I started the Weight Watchers Flex Points Plan only 10 weeks ago and find the meetings do help with motivation, but sometimes it’s a long week between meetings and I hoped that using this magazine would supplement and possibly go deeper into ...
