The defining album of the post-grunge pop rock '90's. This is the bible of quirkiness and simple power chord rock. Every song here is a masterpiece, from the first beat to the last. The whole band moves effortlessly from song to song. Rivers Cuomo's voice perfectly fits the music and his lyrics are incredible. These songs of alienation and lonliness are expertly disguised as a hard-rockin good time. The vocals are so aggressive, that the sadness falls away leaving the pop and the rock to come out and play. This album is simply excellent. Anyone who is a rock fan should own it.
