Pros: Crackling wit; Parker, Perkins; finely observed modern comedy about amusingly dishevelled, poignant lives.

Cons: (For some) excessively raunchy dialogue; kids with some wise-beyond-their-years lines; libertine sensibility.

The Bottom Line: 'Weeds' might be the daffiest, wittiest, truest show on cable today. Don't blame me if you get hooked.
