Author's Review
This is my favorite Harry Connick Jr. album. He's made plenty of great ones since, don't get me wrong, but there is something phenomenal about all of these wonderful love songs.
The title track is incredibly upbeat, romantic, and just a classic jazz tune. I've had friends identify this album simply by singing this song, and saying "that one, do you know it?".
The slower songs, such as "A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square", are also just absolutely breathtaking. Romantic, sweet, and the perfect mood music. Brandford Marsalis guests, exhibiting his talented saxophone stylings on both "Nightingale" and on "I'll Dream of You Again".
Another wonderful fact about this album is that Harry Connick Jr. either wrote or co-wrote many of these songs. These are mostly originals that have the staying power of standards.
If you are a Harry Connick Jr. fan, or a jazz fan, give this a try. You won't be sorry.
