Bose Wave® music Shelf System

I bought it because I was fairly pleased with early Bose speakers and in-car sound system and I was enticed by the ads.

Now I conclude that the Bose Wave Radio is a good alarm clock and very expensive radio. It has overly basey sound with no tone controls. FM reception is OK, AM reception is not.

Most annoying is that the remote control has failed twice. I use it nearly every day. It appears it must be replaced every few years (it is NOT the battery). Bose 'service' says that this is "unusual" and of course is MY problem....simply buy a third one. This is tiring, expensive and annoying.

I won't buy Bose again.
