Will read again and again

Update March 6th: My original review was rubbish and not at all informative, so I am going to give it another go.

Travis is a street smart guy who is pretty much 'done' with people after suffering enough personal drama in his life. He spends much of his time lonely and it's on one of his solitary walks in the wild that he happens upon the next character in this book, Einstein. (He earns the name later in the book because he is quite clever) Despite himself, Travis gets involved with the dog and allows himself to start caring again. The third character is a woman called Nora. Having spent her life a virtual recluse under the control of an Aunt from hell, Nora is a character who needs saved,(in more ways than one) and the Author gives the reader what he/she wants by doing just that, when he introduces Travis and Einstein into her life. All three characters need each other to survive this life. And that's before you even consider what Dean Koontz has in store for them. Being on the run and fighting some unknown sinister creature, and agents who want them very dead.....
