An Enchanting Love Story!!!
Date of Review: Apr 8, 2000
If you love romance then you simply have to see this movie. I now it was released in 1995, so chances are you have seen it. If not rent it and just sit back and relax.
This is the story of a young woman who is returning home and a soldier who happens to meet up with her in a train. He has just returned home from the war to find out that his wife isn't quite what he remembered.
The young woman he meets on the train talks him into pretending to be her husband.
He plans on helping her by passing his self off as her husband and then he would sneak out. Leaving her family to think that he has deserted her. You see she is unmarried and pregnant.
He didn't plan on falling in love with her. But, of course that's what happens. It is a truly amazing love story. There is one part of the story where he is planning on leaving, but he ends up drinking with the grandfather played by Anthony Quinn. It is a very funny scene.
The acting is very good in this movie and the scenery is gorgeous. This movie will want to make you fall in love all over again.
