I've got Glare...Its Not Fair....I Want Hair....Rogaine
Date of Review: Mar 4, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you want to show off your chrome dome, this is the one for you! I don't know how it works for conventional haircutting, since I'm follically challenged.
I work in the public safety business, so it makes sense to have short hair for inevitable tactical situations. Actually I wish that was the only reason. I'm actually follically challenged, and the title of this review is my theme song. I can grow a beard in under a day, but for the top of my head its just not going to happen. I'm in my twenties so what choice do I have other than to go with the glare and shave the peach fuzz off of my head!
I purchased the Wahl 8355 at my local Walmart, and its the best $17.00 I have ever spent. This shaver has now been with me for over a year, and other than needing to be oiled all of the time, it has provided my bald head with flawless performance. I guess God blessed bald men with a perfect head, and I'm lucky in that regard. The Wahl works well on it, and I can shave my head in under 5 minutes with no comb of course. The box came with six different comb lengths: 1/8 to 1 inches, so that you can decide what length you want your hair cut. Luckily I don't have to worry about that, and promptly threw them away. The unit also comes with a small bottle of lubricating oil, which lasted for 3 months.(I admittedly use the shaver once a week) The blade guard protects you from any cutting of scalp, and the shaver works fast and in a consistent manner. It is loud, and lets you know you are cutting that hair off, and does buzz a lot when applied. This is the best electric shaver for hair that I've had yet, and fully recommend it. If you want to purchase it directly from the manufacturer, go to their website.(www.wahl-store.com)
