Pros: If you're an IT, every thing works well with a bit of patience.
Cons: Average person will have a hard time with the unit.
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't recommend this unit to anyone unless you have IT knowledge. Stick with Netgear, Belkin, or built-in print server wireless router.

Review: Printer server had been the pinnacle of networked printing, but the WPS54G Print Server is a falling point of any networked-wireless printing.

Pros: you can telnet in!
Cons: small, well packaged.
The Bottom Line: dont bother, linksys continues to put out low grade products without QA.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: If you have Minolta Printer - dont bother with this device, it will not work based on tech support comment "... it is not compatible..." - I just wish they would have put it on the box in big bold letters.
As with all other linksys... |

Pros: Looks nice, nice product-idea
Cons: Flawed implementation. Runs VERY hot! Not worth the bother.
The Bottom Line: Try something else - Leave this one in the store.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I'll preface this by stating that I *am* an IT professional who works in VERY large corporate environments. There's not much I HAVEN'T seen in my carreer. And lest Cisco imagine me to be in a branch of IT that doesn't include the 'right sort of...

Pros: None, except its not very heavy to carry back to the store for a refund
Cons: Had better luck wireless printing to an empty Wheaties box
The Bottom Line: Professional installation should be recommended for non-tech people -- can't yet speak to the function after installation
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: This is more of a caution than a review of the product, or perhaps it can be considered a review of the customer service and documentation for the product.
I was hoping that some of the negative review issues I had read on other sites... |

Pros: Wireless connection was easy to set up for a 128bit WEP key. Very small size.
Cons: unstable and got hot to the touch when running.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: It looks like the previous person got this right on the nose. This one is absolute trash, so stay away. Not knowing any better, I picked this up without doing a search for ratings of it and I was very sorry.

Pros: Small footprint, good looks, wireless. Good WWW Community support, not Linksys.
Cons: Setup leaves you hanging & Didn't cover my setup. The simplist setup isn't detailed.
The Bottom Line: Recommended (so far)! Once you get past the setup,or have someone experienced with this unit do it for you, it's a great little device.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: For those that had the same problem, where it works great as long as it's wired.... then loses it when goin Wireless..

Cons: doesn't work with Linksys wireless security (WPA or WEP) turned on
