|
Pros: Speed, attractive, easy setup, many configurations, reliable
Cons: Price, bright LEDs can be annoying
The Bottom Line: This is a very reliable router, and has brought our issues with wireless routers to an end.
Review: After experiencing some issues with our wireless connection being slow at home, I decided to order a new router. We had the cable company take a look at our internet connection and re-wire everything, so I knew it wasnt the cable company. My ...

Pros: Very stable - never has to be cycled
Cons: SPI seems a bit touchy - might be my ISP though
The Bottom Line: Very solid, never locks-up and it keeps my home office online 24/7 - I love it!
Review: Bought the D-Link DGL-4300 in June of 2005 and have used it in a home office environment since that time. I have run this router through it's paces and it's been a very solid performer. I run a network with 8 computers, 4 Gigabit D-Link switches, ...

Pros: Fast, 4 gigabit ports, great range, DHCP reservations, nice logging options, QoS enhances VOIP/gaming!
Cons: Super bright LED's, high price (but good value), slightly confusing web interface.
The Bottom Line: Value, speed, 4 gigabit ports, great range, and solves performance issues. Only slightly tarnished by super bright LEDs and a mildly confusing interface. We highly recommend it!
Review: === Overview === We bought the DLink DLG-4300 after our Internet connections began to fail a lot and our VOIP phone calls began to have a lot of drop outs. We thought it was the cable company but it turned out that they are only responsible for about ...

Pros: Gigabit Ethernet, 108Mbps w/D-Link adapter, great wireless range, b/g/108Mbps simultaneously w/ bios upgrade.
Cons: May be slightly complicated to configure for beginners, but not very.
The Bottom Line: Buy this router! You can't go wrong. It has the fastest wireless connections with great range, and Gigabit LAN speeds. Upgrade the firmware, and play hard!
Review: I upgraded from a Netgear WGT624 108Mbps router to the D-Link DGL-4300 and boy, what a difference! The signal that was weak and always dropping upstairs through several foot-thick stone walls is now solid and fast. Gigabit local network is so fast I ...

Pros: Fast. Easy. Pretty. Much better than my old WRT54G
Cons: Expensive. Stupid Self Tests every time I access the control panel.
Review: I bought this Router after I killed 2 other ones with my P2P traffic. The Price seemed intimidating at first but after reading an article on Tom's Hardware placing it as the second fastest Super-G router on the market, I didnt mind. This thing does not ...

Pros: Gigabit switch, excellent wireless connectivity at 108G, fairly robust steering of packets, and very stable.
Cons: Gamefuel did not reduce lag significantly, poor parental control, OS9 incompatibility.
The Bottom Line: A good QoS router with excellent wireless connectivity. However, don't expect to Skype while playing BF2 or WoW. Mac OS9 users will need to disable SPI.
Review: Summary: This is a very good entry-level router with some outstanding features, including a fairly robust (QoS) Quality of Service features. Setup was easy. Wireless features include WAP, Dlinks 2x 802.11g service (108Mbps), stateful packet ...

Pros: stable, good mixture of novice control panel, and advanced features.
Cons: game fuel, it is a terrible nuisance.
The Bottom Line: I would buy it again, its very stable, and extremely easy to use, but make sure you turn of the stupid game fuel thing.
Review: Ive only had this router for a few hours, so this is subject to change. anyways, ive gone through about 5 horrible routers in the past 2 years. some were hand me downs, some just sucked. after my brother destroyed the last one (which sucked btw) i ...

Pros: Nice range, lots of user configurations for it (if you can figure them all out)
Cons: Could use some more indepth instructions on how to use each individual setting
Review: Been using this for a few months now, it's still confusing on how exactly to make the router turn itself on and off. I wanted to be able to filter websites but it's a pain to do them all one at a time as far as restriction is concerned. Nobody can ...

Pros: Pretty blue lights, mountable, auto-tests upload speed.
Cons: No wireless Appletalk, poor security, a ripoff price.
The Bottom Line: Your money is more wisely spent elsewhere.
The Buffalo G54 AirStation and a NetGear 8 port Gigabit switch will give you all this and more for the same cost.
Review: I have yet to find a review of the DGL-4300 by anybody who seemed to have any experience to compare it to and did some full actual testing. So I bought one. It works as advertised, but the Gamerfuel advantage will be unrealized by most people. You can ...
