Overall, a good meter for the price

I purchased this meter because of the price, which was free after the purchase of 100 test strips. The meter is very simple, not a lot of bells and whistles. In my tests against several other meters, and at my doctors office, it appears to be accurate. It's always a good idea to have multiple meters if you're insulin dependent like myself. With the low price, it's easy and cheap to buy a couple of Truetrack meters.

I've used a few for over a year now and have yet to have a problem, outside of the occasional faulty strip. Another plus about this machine is that you can use strips from almost any manufacturer that has the Truetrack logo on it. I don't like the lancet device that came with it, so I used the lancet device and lancets from a One Touch machine. Overall, I recommend this machine if you're not looking for something too fancy.
