Vtech Trio cordless phones

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this product, but not highly. It is reasonably priced, and convenient, but had minor problems.
I just purchased this Vtech trio about a week ago. I only have one phone jack in my old house, and we just really needed another phone or two. We ended up putting one in the kitchen, one in our bedroom, and one in my son's bedroom.
Setting up the phone was easy for the most part. I was able to figure out how to operate everything without looking at the manual. The setup was like most cordless phones. I did have a little trouble trying to get the time and date to set, but after 4 tries, got it. The problem was not figuring out how to do that, but rather getting it to stop at the right time, the button that you press to set the clock is very touchy.
The phone has a little static when I take it away from the base. Now I am not even going far away from the base, so that's not good. Maybe 6 feet away, and I am getting static. The other two phones have light static as well. It isn't bothersome, but certainly isn't great either!
This phone has a built in answering system, redial, caller id, memory, all the good stuff. It has a prerecorded message, or with the touch of a button, you can record your own message. The recording of the message was very easy to do.
This is a wonderful, moderately price telephone system. It is wonderful if you don't have any phone jacks in other room in your house, because no jacks are needed for the two additional phones, just a standard outlet!
I would recommend this phone system, but not highly. It is a moderate price, but would work better if you have a smaller home.
