Poor Quality WORSE Customer Service

I purchased the Vtech 5866 November 10, 2004 and didn't receive the phones (which came from Hong Kong), until November 17th, 2004. I noticed problems with the main phone (5866) and the two add ons (5803) immediately. After recording an outgoing message on the main phone (5866), I was appalled at the tininess sound quality. It was AWFUL. My prior AT&T phones, even on their last legs were much better than this. I tried everything the product manual says to try. No improvement. Then, when I begin using the add on phones (5803), I find that hardly anyone can hear me, and I can barely hear whoever is calling!!

Then the worst part, I try calling VTECH as I ordered these directly through them. The 800 number was BUSY!!! So, I email on 11/28/04. No response, none until 12/7!!

I call again on 12/8, and explain the problem. They were suppose to replace all 3 phones (I wanted to return all 3 but they convinced me otherwise). 7 days later, 12/15, I received ONE BROKEN phone in the mail. I call today, 12/16, and the first customer service agent doesn't know how to use the system and then disconnects me. I call back and the second agent cannot get in the system because the first agent still has it open. This goes on for 20 minutes!!! I give the second agent all information, and still no luck. Guess what, I have to call BACK! I will NEVER NEVER purchase another VTECH product again. Poor quality and WORSE customer service.
