Excellent card!

Finally I found an inexpensive card that has 5.1 optical SPDIF output. The sound quality is excellent, at least for my non-professional ears.

I wanted to connect my PC to my 5.1 home theater system, but the previous 5.1 cards that I had bought had only stereo output on the SPDIF OUT (be careful with this, I did this mistake with two other cheaper cards before I found this one).

The configuration software is good. You must configure the card to have SPDIF output before you can enjoy the 5.1 channels using the optical cable.

Beware: does not come with optical cable.
