Not Worth the Money

I purchased a pair of these from Dell as a Christmas gift for my son, who is a heavy-duty gamer. Within a few weeks the microphone would not stay plugged into the hole. I contacted Turtle Beach and the sent me a prepaid postage envelope so we could return them. It took them several weeks as they were in the middle of moving their office but we eventually received replacement earphones. The new ones held up for a few months and then we had the same problem. We opened them up and found the glue holding the little metal ring that formed the microphone plug-in slot had failed to hold. We re-glued it and closed it back up and it worked for another 2 months. Again, we opened the earphones up and found the same issue only this time we were unable to fix it. We gave up and bought a pair of nice ones from Best Buy for 1/2 the price. I was very disappointed as these were $100 earphones.

My son really liked these earphones. He said the sound and microphone quality was great. Unfortunately, the were not constructed very well.
