2005 1/2 Jetta

This is a great car. Very comfortable and compares in looks to the Lexus GS300. We just bought the first one here in Kansas and it is amazing. If you are familiar with the Jetta's, go look again at this one. A total re-vamp of the car and it is impressive. We did buy the fully loaded one but at 27K compared to he other European luxury sedans, this one is hard to beat. The added features like the "cooled" glove-box and center console for drinks and the shaded rear window were very nice extras that were also functional. Great trunk space and they added a little pull down clip that accommodates those plastic grocery bags. The sun roof option is nice and there are enough electronic bells and whistles to satisfy even this gadget guy. The seat position memory is nice because my wife and I both drive it and we have considerable differences there. Also, the built in garage door opener and factory installed Sirius Satellite Radio are real nice added features. This car rides wonderful and corners even better. Feels very stable on the road. At 22/30 on mileage, its really no contest. I had a couple issues with the brake and accelerator pedals being to close together. Also the computer setup is a little problematic because it does not give you enough time to make your selections before it defaults back to the main menu. But, I'd give it a 9 out of 10. I know it's still new but so far it's the best car I've ever owned. I know you can spend $20 or $30K more and get a little better car. Question is, why?
