The Bottom Line: An eight-cylinder German sedan for well under forty has its appeal. Sadly, the W8 still looks like a car that sells for under thirty, and isn't much fun to drive.

It could have been a home run....

The Bottom Line: A decent car if you don't mind the lack of storage in the interior, and can afford $75 wiper blade replacements each year.

Great car.......for the first 75K miles.

Never again...don't buy this car

The Bottom Line: DO NOT buy this car because of mechanical and safety issues; also, dealership washes hands with responsibility.

Would never buy a VW again.

The Bottom Line: I would never own a VW again. Vw won't stand behind their car and neither will any of the dealers. Nothing but problems.
Review: I bought a 2003 GL Passat with Tiptronic trans in Sep '02. Love the look, love the safety features - hate the dealers and hate the problems.
