Death trap waiting to happen!

Please review the pros that I have stated and do much reseach on this product before you sign anything to purchase this car. My experience is unfortunatly backed by many other victims of VW. I warn you, these problems are FACT. The Jettas are made in Mexico. The quality standards are very poort and literally enforced enough to assemble this auto and roll it onto your local dealership. Hence, then into your driveway. Once this is done, it is your problem...The End.

*Poor Electrical wiring with Radios, will blow

*Faulty clips in window doors, window will fall out

*Ignition coils are faulty, will blow. VW will not replace until they have blown, eventhough there is a recall. This is such a large problem, they do not have the parts. You will be driving, your car it will start to jerk, engine light will come on and you will not be able to drive more then 10 mph. If this happens to you on a highway, hold on, your life is in danger! (known problem)

*Plastic coating on steering wheel, door handles, dash and console blisters and peels away, this is a known problem, not published by VW. This is considered appearance, so hope you are under warranty, otherwise, you will pay out of pocket. ( known problem)

*Cover for rear ash tray will break (known problem)

*Exterior paint chips very easily from anything that hits it. Understand, this will happen to you

In my reseach, spurred by my monthly visits to the local VW Service Department, I am literally horrified by what I have found. The issues are known, yet VW will not and can not spend the billions to correct, when (not if) this happens it is up to you to fix! VW will NOT stand by the Customer. Please do research, search the internet, ask other Jetta owners, visit the local VW Service department for an hour and LISTEN. I will never purchase another VW. I never even thought about the Lemon Law when purchasing this brand new $24,000 vehicle, but now I know it and VW's poor Customer policies all too well.
