Perfect Set for the Price. Positive Customer Service Experience
Pros:
Excellent documentation. Sharp, clear picture on HD. Plenty of inputs.
Cons:
Speakers are nothing special.
The Bottom Line:
If you need an inexpensive set for video gaming or for watching HD, I would buy it. Get an extended warranty however to prevent future headaches.

I got my Vizio from onsale.com as a refurb for $433. When I connected it to my Comcast cable box, I had to use the HDMI to DVI converter cable plus an audio cable. I had a picture but no sound from the HD input.
I called customer service at 8:45 PM eastern time, and got a very polite guy on the phone who managed to figure out that I had to change an audio setting that was not in the manual, but should have been. It took him awhile to figure this out, but he stepped me through the process to diagnose the problem. It worked fine after he found the setting to be changed.
The manual and quick-start sheet are nicely done, in full color, and easy to understand. There are plenty of inputs on this TV, and the picture quality is great. No, it is not a Samsung, but for the price you can't go wrong.
I urge anyone who is buying this set to pop $99 for a 3 year in-home warranty from any vendor that sells the WarrenTech service plan. One place is TedUnlimited.com. Once your manufacturer warranty expires, you can get in-home service in case something goes wrong, even for a refurbished item. You have up to 30 days from when you get your set to buy the warranty.
