Pros:  Displays everything, pc, xbox360, dvd, hi-def cable. Looks AWESOME!

Cons:  Delivery took a while (18 days). Took about 3 hours to get pc to display.

The Bottom Line:  I love it, it rocks.

Author's Review

I got this tv on shopnbc for $1,400, and I LOVE IT!! Only $50 shipping. I never bought anything from them before, but I sure am happy with this deal.
The colors are simply stunning when viewing hi-def. Monday night football will never be the same. DVD's have never looked better, and the thing rocks displaying my computer (especially games). What a great deal, and 6 months free credit ($233 a month for 6 months was the deal I got).

I use it for DVD, hi-def digital cable, vcr, gaming pc and xbox 360. Displays everything in great color and super sharp detail. It was several hundred dollars less than the big stores around me for similar tv's.

For hi-def tv you will need a hi-def tuner (cable or satellite, usually). The tv will not take a raw cable feed (co-axial cable) and display in hi-def. To use a pc, your video card must be able to display 1280 x 720. It only displayed for me (NVidia 6600GT video card) when I picked "Monitor Scaling" under advanced timing. I had nothing but a black screeing saying "Timing out of range" until I picked that one thing, and then BAM - incredible pc display. Games play great at 1024 x 768, since most don't let you pick 1280 x 720. Games like Fear and Prey are simply incredible on this screen.

It has plenty of inputs, on the side and back. I use the DVI for pc (fortunately, my vid card has a vga and dvi output, so I use a regular monitor in conjunction with the big screen), 3 wire hi def for digital cable and dvd, tv for the raw cable feed (which is a must for the 7 screen picture in picture to work properly - WOW). AV1 for vcr and AV2 for dvd 2. It also has audio out for a surround receiver - a must have with the hi-def.

If you get a good price for this tv, you simply will not be disappointed. If it is to be your first experience with hi-def, you will simply be blown away, I sure was. If you order from shopnbc, then be prepared to wait 2 to 3 weeks for the thing to be delivered. But for $50, no problem. Most other places charge $200 to $300 for a tv this size.
