A great little camera for the price tag!

Date of Review:  Nov 14, 2003
The Bottom Line: Provides a lot of bang for the buck and does just fine for every day use.
Review: Our first digital camera was a little polaroid that got about 1/4 megapixel for resolution (320 X 280 around there?) without a flash. Then we stepped up to a Vivicam 3500. It was only 1.2 megapixels. It had a flash and took pretty decent pictures,...

What a LITTLE STINKER--Bought Two--Both Melted

Date of Review:  Dec 10, 2003
The Bottom Line: Well..uh..don't buy one. As I said before--melted plastic fumes are bad for your lungs.
Review: From Walmart--$157--good price. Seemed to have plenty of amenities for the price--at least it SEEMED to....
Lens cover is very flimsy and prone to get sprung. LCD difficult to see--but this is a given for most digitals. AC adapter a must...

A complete waste of money

Date of Review:  Feb 6, 2004
The Bottom Line: Junk
Review: I was unlucky enough to receive one of these cameras as a present. Although the pictures is takes are acceptable, the overriding problem with the camera is the short battery life. I bought a Maxell recharger and 4 rechargeable batteries to go along...

Little bit of everything compacted into a great price.

Date of Review:  Jun 18, 2003
The Bottom Line: The many features?and great price?make it a perfect camera for the beginner to the enthusiast. It's something that all ages and backgrounds can appreciate?you don't have to be tech savvy!
Review: I felt like an idiot. I got to my car, after purchasing the Vivitar ViviCam 3715, and completely overlooked the zoom capability before I bought the camera.

My chihuahua, Toni, was laying in the seat beside me, annoyed that I was so wrapped...

Overall disappointed

Date of Review:  Jul 31, 2003
The Bottom Line: I would spend more money and get a camera with better optics, better flash, etc. If you want 8x10 prints with decent results, be sure to go 3MP or greater.
Review: I've had an Olympus C3000 3 megapixel camera for a couple years (and like it a lot), but I was looking for something more pocket-sized to take on a recent trip. I saw the Vivitar 3715 at Walmart and thought it looked like a great deal - $158 for a 3...

By Far the Most Disappointing Purchase I've Ever Made

Date of Review:  Oct 31, 2003
The Bottom Line: Avoid this camera (unless you only wish to view your photos on a 1" LCD screen.)
Review: No bargain, even at $132. Battery (which came with camera) went dead after first use, (two pictures!!) No biggie, bought Energizers the next day. Took photos of my 4 day old son & his 3 year old brother with their grandmother. Pictures appeared to...

BUDGET PRICE, BUDGET FEATURES

Date of Review:  Jul 1, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you can spend a couple more bucks to get a better camera. DO IT!
Review: INTRO:

I bought this camera during the holiday season when it was on sale for 88 dollars. I thought it was a steal since i was getting a 3 megapixel for under a 100 bucks.

Budget price, happy faces

Date of Review:  Nov 12, 2003
The Bottom Line: No fooling here, the low price doesn't mean low quality. Good choice for any budget-minded & first-time digital camera purchase.
Review: It was time for a replacement. My outdated 1.3M camera was starting to get to me. I had a Kodak DC3200 for several years (Personal Review - http://www.epinions.com/content_11173793412), but the blurry pictures & the quality of the pictures weren't...

Vivitar 3715--2 strikes, you're out!!!

Date of Review:  May 21, 2005
Review: Well, since Vivitar doesn't have an e-mail address or toll free customer service number I guess I'll air my experience here about the piece of junk camera they are selling. I bought a 3715 two weeks ago and took about 3 pictures with it before it...

Vivicam 3715

Date of Review:  Jul 9, 2003
The Bottom Line: This camera is the best for under 200 dollars and if you arent trying to give up more buy it! I would buy this before any camera.
Review: When I first got the camera I was having a little diffuculty to learn the features. (but thats why you should read the directions) Once you read the directions it is so easy to use. The only ting I dont like is the lagging when i take pictures, when...
