These earbuds are comfortable and sound great. I use them everyday sitting at my computer in a loud office. They come with different size buds so you can get a comfortable feeling no matter what size ear. The sound is full and clear and sounds better than any earbuds or headphones I've used. I am currently sitting here listening to Will Smith. He uses a lot of highs and lows and I can hear everything. The sound is full and the bass seems like it would rattle your body if it were louder. I was surprised when I first tried these. I didn't want to spend $100 on headphones, but my friend bought a pair and I tried them. I was going cheap and got a $12. I was completely blown away with the quality of these. I got my $12 back and put it towards the new Bose. My friend bought 3 more pairs, 1 for each other person in his family. The $100 price tag is what you will pay at any retailer. I am starting to see some places such as Best Buy have them on sale for $89.99, as well as places on line. I found a retailer through Amazont that was selling a "new in box" of these for $49.99. Something tells me that a price that low, something isn't right. These are definately worth the $100 or $90 that they are. You can get earbuds up to $300-$400 if your willing to pay that much. I don't know why you spend more money than this on earbuds. If you want the best sound then you should go for the over-the-ear headphones and skip the earbuds. I have yet to try these on an airplane, but I am willing to bet they would block out most of the airplane noise because of the material of the earbuds. These are NOT noise cancelling so I don't think they would eliminate all noise.
