Virtua Fighter 4 Wants To Make You Its Beeiotch, Again |
|||
|
Pros: Like, uh...there's a lot to do
Cons: Might be too hard for wimpy, skill-lacking players
The Bottom Line: Ah, it took the wizards at Epidiots only 2 months to add this game in!
Review: To many fighting fans, last years Virtua Fighter 4 was easily the best PlayStation 2 fighter, and perhaps the deepest, most challenging 3D fighting game ever made. It hit it off with critics and PS2 owners alike, as the game was very well received an ...

Virtua Fighter 4 Moves to the Top of the List |
|||
|
Pros: Awesome quest mode, gorgeous graphics, deep gameplay but easy for beginners
Cons: Some minor graphical and sound issues
The Bottom Line: "Karate come from China, sixteenth century, called te, 'hand.' Hundred year later, Miyagi ancestor bring to Okinawa, call *kara*-te, 'empty hand.'"
Mister Miyagi, The Karate Kid Review: Overall: 9 Gameplay: 9 Graphics: 9 Sound: 8 Concept: 9 Replay Value: 9 When you're the original, the first in a field, it's tough to watch others surpass you and beat you at your own game. This must be how Sega's AM2 division has felt for quite ...

Worth Every Penny at Twice the Price: Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution |
|||
|
Pros: Arguably the greatest fighting game ever made.
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: This game belongs in every PS2 owner's library. It's an instant classic.
Review: When it comes to fighting games, there are five standout series and a bunch of other games that are cool, but not on the same level. Street Fighter, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive and Virtua Fighter are the undisputed heavyweightsits their ...

Pros: The best fighting game on the market today. Or ever.
Cons: Button-mashers will enjoy it, but only through hours of practice will you truly dominate.
The Bottom Line: This game is worth the $20, even to those who already own Virtua Fighter 4. The new "Quest mode" will keep you busy for months on end.
Review: Ev-o-lu-tion: n. A gradual process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form. Bingo. Perhaps the greatest compliment that I can give to this game is that I already owned Virtua Fighter 4 when I bought it. ...

Pros: Graphics
VF1 Included Customizable Characters Advanced Training Cons: Too Deep Fighting System
Not Enough Extras No Online Very Little Replay The Bottom Line: Although I grew up on Virtua Fighter, I've played much better than the latest. I CAN'T RECOMMEND this unless you are in desperate need of a fighter.
Review: Virtua Fighter is getting kinda old in its time. The series has seen an anime (and a horrible one at that) as well as incarnations on almost every SEGA system since the Genesis. In March 2002, SEGA amazed the world with Virtua Fighter 4. Well, 17 months ...
