Great concept, but...

I received this as a gift. It came with the pizzelle plates in place, so I had to remove them to install the waffle plates. I read and re-read the instructions on how to remove the plates, but I still managed to break the plastic handles upon removal of plates. I haven't called Villaware yet to try to obtain a replacement piece. Maybe Villaware should have designed this with latches to release the plates instead of having to shimmy them out somehow.
