Don't drop the Freezer Bowl

I think the other reviews are very accurate. I just wanted to add one thing that came up that may happen to other owners of this product.

I always stored the freezer bowl in the the freezer, so that it was ready to freeze ice cream whenever I was. Last week while getting something else out of the freezer, the bowl fell out and broke. The liquid like substance inside that helps it stay cold all leaked out, so it is totally unusable now.

I contacted Villaware and was told ""The "freezer bowl" for the Ice Cream Maker V5100 is not available as a
replacement part. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.""

Wow! This is truly outstanding customer service!!!
