WHAT A JOKE!

We remodeled our home and installed a 48" Viking range along with a Viking hood. The installation was done by a certified Viking installer and it looks fabulous! Well, looks are deceiving. The range has not worked for the two months that we have owned it. The burners will literally not get hot enough to boil water! The oven(s) work great and the convection feature is terrific. Our range has the grill feature and it works well also. We have had two service calls to repair the burner problem and all we have accomplished is the changing of parts but no solution. We are currently waiting more parts that are "supposed" to fix the problem. We'll see. Right now we have a six thousand dollar boat anchor. I have a Coleman camp stove that cooks better than this thing. The customer service from the local dealer and from Viking is horrible. No response to phone calls, waiting weeks for parts, and the inability to diagnose what seems like a simple problem are not acceptable. And no one wants to even discuss replacing the range. I can see the possibility of actually having to litigate this problem in order to fix it! This is outrageous. I would not recommend this product (or any Viking product) to anyone. The amount of money charged for this product should get a person far better service than has been provided. Very poorly handled.
