Viking Corporation Should be Ashamed of themselves!!!!!

I bought the 48" Duel Fuel Viking Range and loved every aspect of the range until we needed service. Considering the mega bucks that you spend to purchase this PRO range, you get absolutely no service, and in many cases have to search to find a reputable service representative.

With that said, the range oven hinges completely sheared in two (this is not a small hinge, but one similar to a garage door opener with a spring), requiring both hinges on the large oven door to be replaced after only five years of OCCASIONAL use! When I contacted Viking, and after sending them solid proof that the hinges had sheared in two (obviously a manufacturing problem) they had the gall to send me an email saying that I applied too much weight to the door! If this is the kind of support you can expect from Viking, I would highly suggest you stay away from them and purchase something that will provide you the kind of customer help you would expect from a BIG NAME company like Viking. micknminy@aol.com
