Cheap Breakable Plastic Parts on Blender

I make smoothies and wanted a Top of the Line Blender that you find at specialty cooking shops. I bought the Viking Blender but was surprised with all the plastic parts to it. 2 weeks later as I was setting the blender to the machine, the bottom of the blender cracked and plastic pieces broke off of it. I was extremely disappointed in a company that used to be reliable. I took it back and replaced it with another blender company other than Viking. I will never recommend to buy Viking again.
