LEAKS

This is an update on Jan 19. It's not leaking any more. I think the base needed to be wet around the edge when first used to make a seal. On the 2nd day it only leaked a little around the on and off switch. It is used nightly and there are no more leaks.

Medications can NOT be used in this model.

20 hours operation between fillings must be on low because on high it's about 12 hrs.

When I called Kaz they were helpful and said to take it back to the store maybe there was a slight crack. He also said that this model does shut off. I have let the water get very, very low in the base and it hasn't.


I just bought on Jan 14, 2007 the Vick's V5100N because of the reviews and it was on sale for $47 at Target.

There is no mark for the water level. I fill it up all the way to the top and there is no problem with overflow.

Is is QUIET.
